My Story

I’m a proud father, founder of Cornell Capital Holdings and #1 bestselling author. As a former executive director at Morgan Stanley and having $1.4B Under Management, I left the traditional establishment to pull back the curtain on the confusion and complexity of traditional investing.  My firm works to shine a light on what’s wrong with our industry, building a niche focus, and creating an environment to solve unique client problems.

I think it is important for you to know my backstory so you can appreciate where I am now.  I come from a town of 14,000 people.  I did not come from money and I never really knew anyone with money, so I started out knocking on doors. I put in my 10,000 hours meeting people to develop this skill set, which took me from obscurity to a top designation at one of the largest wealth management firms in the world.

These days, every advisor I meet wants to know more. Why I left my book of $1.4 billion of traditional wealth management. How I generated an interested lead database of 3,000 accredited investors (most qualified purchasers and above). How I’ve reimagined asset management beyond stock and bond allocation, and have brought in over $150 million from scratch over that 12 month period.  In just the last six weeks, we have amassed $72 million of new money in the pipeline.

But what truly confirmed what I’m doing is the right thing, happened on the first day of that trip I was dreading.
